DR CARRYN MASLUK
Dr Carryn Masluk is experienced in the assessment and treatment of adults and young adults (ages 16+). Carryn has had the privilege of working with clients for over 10 years at the Prince of Wales Hospital and privately at the Black Dog Institute in Randwick, providing individual and group based treatments to adults experiencing severe and mild-moderate mental health concerns. .
When not working, Carryn is the mother of two young children and she has a particular interest in perinatal (pregnancy and post-natal care) and women's mental health. Carryn is motivated to help women and families adjust to the challenges of early parenthood.
Carryn is an experienced speaker and runs teaching and training workshops for universities, hospital staff, and allied health professionals on managing complex patients, personality disorders, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. She is available for clinical supervision.
Emily Wynter is an experienced registered psychologist who brings a compassionate, thoughtful and practical approach to her work.
Emily has worked with adolescents and adults in a range of settings including in the private hospital setting at Northside Clinic, private practice, youth mental health at Headspace, crisis support and university counselling services.
Emily also has experience working with functional disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome, having spent several years with the specialised Neurogastroenterology Centre at Queen Mary University of London. During her time there she ran a cognitive behavioural treatment program and completed research focusing on the effectiveness of psychological therapy for behavioural belching disorders.
Emily enjoys tailoring interventions towards individual patient goals and typically incorporates cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness based strategies, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) into her practice. She has a strong interest in the connection between the mind and body and draws on a multidisciplinary approach for the best outcome for her patients.
Emily holds memberships with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Tricia Padoa is a dedicated and passionate psychologist who enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing a range of mental health concerns.
Tricia has worked with adults, young children and adolescents in a range settings including private practice, the UTS University Clinic, and community treatment programs including the Early Psychosis team in Bondi and the Eastern Suburbs Child and Adolescent service in Randwick.
Tricia works from a variety of therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and mindfulness.

Emily Wynter joins our Practice
June 2019 - Emily Wynter has joined the team at Dr Carryn Masluk & Associates to provide treatment to teens and adults. Emily has worked in private practice, private hospital settings, at Headspace, crisis support and university counselling clinics. Emily will work on Tuesdays, 10am - 6pm. New referrals welcome.
New Child & Adolescent Clinician
March 2018 - Tricia Padoa has joined Dr Carryn Masluk & Associates to provide treatment to adults, children and adolescents. Tricia has worked with parents, young children and adolescents in a range of public hospital settings including the Early Psychosis team in Bondi and the Eastern Suburbs Child and Adolescent service in Randwick. We welcome Tricia to the practice. New referrals are welcome.
Doors open at Cammeray's new clinical psychology practice
On 12 March 2017, Dr Carryn Masluk Clinical Psychology, Cammeray opened to offer adult and perinatal psychology services to support people on the Lower North shore.
Referrals can be made via a GP, psychiatrist or self-referral. Simply call on (02) 8324 1469 to make an appointment.
The practice is located upstairs in the Stockland Cammeray building, next door to Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology and opposite Cammeray Medical.
